Tuesday 5th July commute.
The wind had dropped this morning, so although it was still breezy, it was a lot easier ride to work.
There were a small flock if Greylag geese honking to each other in Belhaven bay.
On the climb up Pencraig hill I began to hear an intermittent creak. This then became the sole focus of my cycle with thoughts of a collapsed bottom bracket. Normally a bottom bracket wouldn't bother me. They're pretty simple to change, however the Shimano Steps is a different matter. Before I headed home I put the Ridgeback on the stand in the bikes shed at work and gave everything a good tighten or oil. It's still creaking...
Commuting total 74.4 miles.
