Monday 4th July commute.

 Another overcast morning with winds around 20mph and gusting into the 30s. As usual it was right in the nose and pummelled me throughout my ride. It was a slog but I had the comfort that my return journey would be a flier. 

Despite the wind, the hedgerows were bursting with the chattering of sparrows and chaffinches. 

The ride home was a joy. The roads were dry, the sun came out and the wind was behind me!
