Monday 19th June - commute.

 It finally rained last night after at least 3 weeks of very dry weather. This made for quite a humid morning and I felt it spinning my way up Pencraig.  There was a bit of wind when I finished work and almost miraculously, it was almost a tail wind.  I got a bit of speed up then burst a spoke. 

It had broken at the nipple end, so I tied it up as well as I could with a piece of polythene bag. By the time I got home, there was an awful creaking from the motor again. I had hoped that greasing the bolts and mounts had sorted it, but the creak is back. 

I've had a coffee, so I better get the tools out and get started.
