Friday 19th May - commute.

 I gave the chain a bit of lube last night and trued a wobble in the back wheel. Unfortunately this morning there were some hideous creaking noises coming from the clean-ish chain. I figured it was the worn back sprocket and decided just to try not to pedal too hard and cycle into work anyway.  At lunchtime I nipped home in the car and picked up the old 'spare' sprocket which is in reasonable condition.  I took advantage of the workstation in the bike shed and swapped it all over. 

The journey home was a lot quieter, but I am going to have to check that front chainring for wear soon. 

The weather is getting better.
