Thursday 6th April - commute.

 I had only managed about half a mile yesterday morning when I got a puncture in the rear wheel. I stood in the rain looking at a very flat tyre, then pushed the bike home, got changed, and took the car to work. The rain was hammering down in the evening, so I didn't feel too guilty. 

I put a new tube in last night and had a good look at the tyres. They are full of little cuts and splits, so I bit the bullet and ordered 2x Schwalbe Marathon plus. Realistically, the Schwalbe 365s have done me well. I've put over 2000 miles of commuting through roadside detritus on them, and I can't be sure what miles they had done before that.  

Today's commute was thankfully less eventful and it stayed dry.
