Wednesday 26th October - commute.

 It was dark for a lot of my commute today. The front light on the Ridgeback is integral to the bikes electric system and is adequate. It casts enough light to ride along the routes that I am very familiar with at a reasonable speed. I'd have to slow down if it was a new route. 

I don't mind riding along in my little pool of light, but it does restrict the views and I miss seeing the wildlife. Its ok at the moment as there is some daylight and the clocks go back soon, meaning it will hopefully be light for all of my morning cycle. Unfortunately the return home will soon be in darkness. 

Those gathering clouds caught me just as I was returning back along Belhaven bay. Drookit again.
