Monday 22nd August - commute.

 A calm mild morning  and I made good time. There has been a new road surface being laid at one part of my journey and although they are not smoothing out the shared use path, they have swept it, so it's a little faster. 

Unfortunately not all the route is so good and there are a few sections with a hawthorn hedge running alongside. 

I stopped to take a photo here because I'd felt the back tyre going soft. Sure enough there was a thorn in it. 

One day I'll find puncture proof tyres.
