Wednesday 13th July - commute.

 A pleasant cycle to work this morning. The temperature was around 16°C, which is fine for me. Despite the wind, I made reasonable time and I seem to be settling into a certain pace for each section of the journey. The open exposed bits, the uphill, the road parts. I'm finding a level of effort for different surfaces and weather that makes good time but doesn't exhaust me for journey as a whole. I suppose I'm cycling more efficiently. 

The crops are coming on quickly this year. With the low moisture levels I don't think it will be long until the harvesting starts.
