Monday 18th July - commute.

 The weather forecast predicted it would be hot today and it was. It felt around 20°C on the cycle into work this morning and I allowed myself a stop in what little shade there was to drink more water. 

I was out for some of the day in a work car which had decent air-con, which is just as well. 

34°c seems a bit excessive. 

By about 5:30 I left work and started the commute home. The cycling was OK but the heat was stifling. I started to look forward to passing trucks and the couple of seconds of breeze they brought. 

A bit of shade and a chance for a drink. 

Apparently it's to be hotter tomorrow.
