Monday 11th July - commute.

A new week and a sweltering hot day by Scottish standards.

Last Monday I had considered wearing full gloves, but they definitely weren't needed today.

The heat was building down by the bay and the climb up Pencraig was hot. I stopped for water before the bliss of a breeze heading down the other side. By midafternoon the thermometer was showing 30°c.

On the way home the temperature had dropped a little and it was quite overcast, but still a pleasant ride.

Commuting total 174.5 miles.
