Friday 15th July - commute.

It had been raining through the night but I thought I might get a gap in the weather this morning. I packed my waterproof jacket and trousers in the pannier as usual but took the risk of just wearing a windproof jacket. 

I got absolutely soaked and was thankful for the hot showers at work. Unfortunately there is nowhere to dry kit so I had to change back into wet clothes for the cycle home. 

Once I got over the initial discomfort, I was fine and enjoyed the evening sun. 

My shoulder is feeling a lot better although it's still a bit restricted but that's not much of a problem compared with getting meningitis.  Hopefully it will ease and be back to normal this weekend.
